What You'll Do
Take ownership of the financial integrity of our German operations, partnering with the Finance Director to connect accurate reporting with smooth day-to-day execution. Responsible for all tasks involved in the General Accounting of our company in Germany. Liaise with Audit, Accountant and Tax Consultants to obtain, Annual Accounts, Company Income Tax calculation and filing and most important, Annual Audit Report in a timely manner. Check and process vendor invoices. Supplier invoices are currently handled by the A/P Department. Accounting entries. Interact with service providers to ensure efficient operations. Deal with all general consultants related advisors for domestic and foreign VAT declarations, INTRASTAT, etc. Performs various clerical tasks such as: filing, posting, tabulating and typing. May be called on to communicate with customers regarding order status, stock product information, etc. Maintains records of customer contacts and response and documents request for action. What We're Looking For: Accounting educational background & 3-5 years' professional experience working on the accounting full cycle, preferably in Germany and the Czech Republic. Practical knowledge of office administration and confidence using standard office equipment. Fluency in written and spoken English and German. Confident user of Windows, Microsoft Office and SAP.
