Environmental Conditions Laboratory Setting, Office Job Title: Senior Field Application Scientist-Luminex and Immunoassays Field Application Scientist Luminex and Immunoassays As a Field Application Scientist, you will provide scientific expertise; applications support and training to customers on Thermo Fisher Scientific's Antibodies, Immunoassays and Luminex Assay & Instrument Portfolio. This may include in-person, phone, email and/or video communications. A Field Application Scientist will partner with sales reps in the field to deliver product line-specific, pre-, and post-sales-related customer support activities, and solve customer escalations effectively. Performs instrument and workflow demonstration, installations and training on relevant products at customer or company locations Provides training and helps coach and mentor team members Partners with regional, and global teams to support the organization in the achievement of the regional commercial, service and support goals Facilitates distributor FAS capabilities through training, coaching, and knowledge transfer, fostering ownership and self-sufficiency. Experience/Qualifications/Qualities: D. or Master in Cell Biology or Immunology and relevant experiences Several years of experience working with laboratory techniques; environment Fluent in English and at least one other European language (Italian, Spanish, German, or French)
