Overview
In this role you will work under the Lead Sound Engineer to deliver high-quality audio for video game projects. You will act as Audio Project Lead on batches, coordinating with Project Managers, Audio QA, Audio Asset Managers, and Recording Studios to meet timelines and technical specs. You will perform postproduction, mixing, effects, mastering, leveling, and audio analysis, while keeping clear communication about workload, risks, and opportunities. You will mentor fellow Sound Engineers and support cross-functional collaboration across Globalize teams. Responsabilidades
Prepare recording sessions following best practices and project-specific needs
Perform audio postproduction on recorded assets
Mixing, sound effect creation, and batch analysis
Communicate workload, risks, and opportunities to management
Coordinate with colleagues on postproduction tasks
Build relationships with Project Managers, Audio Asset Managers, Audio QA, and Recording Studios
Oversee technical management of specific audio projects or batches as Audio Project Lead
Ensure timelines, specifications, and quality demands are met for projects
Coordinate work of other Sound Engineers on projects
Assist onboarding, training, and mentoring of other Sound Engineers
Support Recording Studio teams in recordings, session prep, and studio upkeep
Promote a culture of collaboration within the Globalize team and with other service lines
Requisitos principales
Good verbal and written communication in English and other languages
Ability to communicate clearly with all stakeholders
Knowledge of Audio Localization workflows, processes, and tools
Knowledge of digital audio workstations and innovations in sound engineering
Basic knowledge of video games market
Experience in audio recording and postproduction
Experience in the videogames industry is highly preferred
Demonstrable collaborative teamwork
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage sensitive information
