The Science Department is seeking a full-time, passionate, energetic, and innovative Physics teacher who is interested in joining a collaborative group of science educators and working with highly motivated high school students in a diverse and international community.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Engineering, or related fields.
Master's degree preferred (such as the Master's Degree in Teacher Training).
Knowledge of IB (International Baccalaureate) Methodology is preferred.
Proficiency and skill in using instructional technology, including iPads in the classroom and simulation/laboratory software.
Willingness to teach introductory science/physics courses and the potential to teach higher levels (IB Diploma Programme).
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, including a clear voice.
Excellent presentation skills.
Must possess strong classroom management skills and a demonstrated ability to engage students in practical and experimental learning.
Must maintain a professional demeanor.
Ability to work well with others, resolve controversies and conflicts through respectful negotiation, and accept constructive feedback.
