Therole is varied, and requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills,experienceengaging with project stakeholders, and the ability to work independently.Asystematic approachto workisa must, as well as experienceinBIM requirements development, implementation, execution, BIM modelvalidationand data verification.Strong data analysis and datavisualisationskills are alsoa must, as rotation across BIM and data analysis projects is expected.

KeyResponsibilities

At Turner andTownsend,we work holistically with our wider business to provide an environment for innovation and deliver success on projects where BIM is coretothe delivery and operation of assets.We lead the BIM processatorganisational,programmeand project level. The candidate’s responsibilities will span acrossmultiple project stages, including:

Discovery, understanding and BIM requirements development (OIRs, AIRs, EIRs, PIRs).

BIM implementationstrategy and project setup.

Project andprogrammeBIM execution.

BIMinformation management and supply chain management.

BIM compliance checking and data verification.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience inBIM management inarchitecture,engineeringand construction projects across the entire project lifecycle.

Highly proficient in spoken and written English, with excellent command (Level C1 Advanced).

Advanced skills in configuration and management ofAutodesk Construction Cloud(ACC).

Authorkey BIM documentation such as Asset Information Requirements, ExchangeInformation Requirements, Project Information Requirements,and where applicable, BIM Execution Plans.

Assure project BIM standards are being followed,reportingonkey risks and effective mitigationsusing plain language reporting.

Consulting and business analysis skills

Proficiencyin datavisualisationsoftware such as Power BI and Tableau

Strong understanding of dimensions, measures, metadata & schemas

Manage teams of BIM coordinators.

Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.

Advanced-levelexperience in BIMauthoring,validation,and coordination tools likeRevit,AECOsim,Navisworks,Vectorworks,BIM Collab,SolibriModelCheckerand IFC Checker.

Up to date knowledge ofISO19650standards.

Ability to leadand support teamsin the implementation of BIM on major projectsandprogrammes.

Assess projectteams’BIM competency,advisingthe development of the project BIM Execution Plans and approving on behalf ofthe client where necessary.

Lead model assurance activities,including definition ofstrategy, andmodeland BIM dataanalysis.

Chair andBIM workshopswith the project team to present outcomes of model assurance activities.

• Consultancy background,with client-facing experienceand a client-orientatedapproach.

Knowledge ofdelivery requirements,quality management,andprocess improvementin complex construction projects.

Skilled in presenting and delivering training to groups of stakeholders.

Research, develop and implement areas ofnew technology,process,and emerging best practices.

Provide support to the wider business with tender bidding teams to win future work.
