Electrical Technician

Job Description

The CIDAUT Foundation seeks the incorporation of industrial electrical technician with experience in industrial environments. Versatility enough to work with electrical systems in different contexts.

Main functions

• Analysis, definition, calculations and design of electrical diagrams.
• Interpretation of requirements and technical specifications to define electrical needs.
• Interpretation of electrical diagrams and schemes, as well as technical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings.
• Execution of electrical installations.
• Preparation of technical reports and incident reporting.
• Assembly of electrical systems, wiring, control systems and electronic equipment.
• Commissioning of industrial electrical systems and installations.
• Detection, diagnosis, and resolution of electrical faults in installations, machinery, and electrical panels.

Requirements

• Higher vocational training in the fields of Electricity and Electronics and/or Installation and Maintenance.
• Experience in low-voltage electrical systems: wiring, installation, connection, and commissioning of electrical installations and industrial machinery.
• Experience in assembling electrical cabinets.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and diagrams and understand technical specifications, and, where possible, know how to interpret pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams and installation drawings.
• Experience in the design of electrical systems.
• Handling of electrical measuring tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical regulations and electrical and machine safety.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns.

It will be valued:

• Experience in industrial environments
• Training and use of electrical design tools, preferably ePLAN.
• Knowledge of electrical automation systems/automatons, frequency inverters, and servomotors. Knowledge of instrumentation and calibration.
• Basic knowledge of electronics. Basic knowledge of industrial mechanics.
• ATEX training.
• Interpretation of process diagrams and P&IDs
• Ability to provide solutions to electrical problems or needs.
