NextLink is looking for a Product Owner who will be working within the interoperability team of the platform engineering division with our Pharma industry client, delivering re-usable software platform components to connect IVD devices and software.

Main Responsibilities

As a member of the team, the Product Owner will be responsible for:

  1. Elicitation of features with stakeholders & backlog prioritisation aligned with the International Product Managers, helping the team understand the business needs and customer perspective.
  2. Facilitating the team to break down features into stories, maintaining and prioritising the backlog, and validating stories to meet objectives and acceptance criteria.
  3. Owning defects and prioritising them within iterations, supporting the development team on scope-related topics, and building relationships with customers.
  4. Collaborating closely with Connectivity Platform teams to elicit requirements promptly.
  5. Continuously optimizing processes to enhance quality and efficiency standards.
Requirements

Main Requirements

  • University degree in informatics, electronics, bioinformatics, or a comparable field.
  • Proven experience of over 10 years working as a Product Owner managing global complex projects.
  • 2-4 years of experience in agile software development.
  • Experience with HL7 / ASTM communication protocols.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work with distributed teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, influence, and inspiring skills.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and resolve problems effectively.
  • Ability to translate requirements and solutions for both business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory; fluency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
