Technical Product Owner/Manager

We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Owner/Manager to drive the Edge Infrastructure product forward. This role will be responsible for leading the team's vision and execution towards a cohesive goal.

The Position

This is a highly technical software and infrastructure project, mainly targeting developers. The successful candidate will have a strong technical understanding of the tools and technologies involved and software development processes in general.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Act as the customer's voice within the team, investing time to understand user needs and sharing insights with engineers during refinement sessions.
    • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to align, clarify, visualize, and communicate the team roadmap.
    • Prioritize individual tickets, ensuring a balanced approach between feature development and managing technical debt effectively.
    • Engage with stakeholders to determine priorities and visualize outcomes using sprints and the backlog.
    • Plan timelines of upcoming work according to the team's capacity, skills, and absences.
    • Participate in release activities to comply with Roche quality processes and regulations.
  • Required Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience as a software, infrastructure, or DevOps engineer, preferably with cloud-native technologies or modern software stacks.
    • 2+ years of experience in content leadership roles or similar.
    • Demonstrated team leadership and customer focus in a previous role.
