We focus on delivering bespoke expertise and strategic solutions that empower financial institutions and fintech companies to thrive in a competitive market.With a focuson innovation and excellence, we have successfully partnered with leading organisations to drive transformation and achieve sustainable growth.Position summaryThe Business Development Director (Capital Markets Solutions) will focus on building new strategic client relationships and expanding our footprint across global and regional banking institutions. Operating at the intersection of technology, risk, regulation, and digital transformation, this role drives multi-disciplinary solutions spanning AI, Data, Quantitative Analytics, and Regulatory & Risk practices. The Director acts as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders within capital markets, shaping opportunities that leverage the firm’s global consulting capabilities to deliver measurable impact.Our firm is a global management and technology consultancy with a deep heritage in capital markets, delivering transformation programmes, strategic advisory,and advanced technology solutions to leading investment banks, exchanges, and financial institutions worldwide.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and engage prospective banking clients; conduct detailed research into strategic, commercial, regulatory, and technical driversIdentify, qualify, and size complex opportunities across AI, Risk & Regulatory, Digital Transformation, Quant Engineering, and Data & AnalyticsDrive opportunities end-to-end, from lead origination and shaping through proposal, negotiation, to closureEnsure lasting client satisfaction and strengthen long-term strategic partnershipsDevelop and execute account development plans aligned to practice priorities and market demandUnderstand clients’ operating models, technology landscapes, and transformation agendasEvolve into a subject-matter expert across our consulting offerings, capital markets trends, and emerging industry developmentsMaintain accurate CRM data and pipeline management aligned with global governanceCoordinate cross-practice delivery, technology, and consulting teams across regionsGenerate and manage high-value, multi-year engagements delivering measurable commercial resultsEstablish, track, and report KPIs; prepare executive-level account updates covering progress, risk, health, and opportunity pipelinesRepresent the firm at industry events, conferences, and roundtables; contribute thought leadership and client-facing collateralProvide weekly forecasts and activity reportingwith high accuracySupport budgeting, planning, and financial management across your account portfolio; drive efficiencies in delivery and operational modelsManage stakeholder communication across clients and internal leadershipSupport training and adoption initiatives related to our technology, methodologies, and servicesPropose and champion innovative, commercially compelling solution offerings across our practicesKnowledge and experience / qualificationsRequired:Commit to integrity and exceptional client serviceDeliver consistently high-quality work and outcomesDemonstrate a service-driven mindset with a drive to exceed expectationsTakeownership of performance, commitments, and resultsWork with urgency and adaptability in a dynamic consulting environmentTreatclients, colleagues, and partners with professionalism and respectCollaborate effectively with globally distributed, multi disciplinary teamsBuild and sustain strategic, trust-based relationships with clients and peersEmbrace diverse perspectives, new ideas, and inclusive teamworkExercise financial discipline in decision-makingActproactively to solve problems and deliver resultsPrior experience selling or delivering technology, AI, digital, or data-driven solutions into capital markets or financial servicesMinimum 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience within consulting, technology, or financial servicesExperience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from origination through contracting and ongoing engagementBackground in client consulting, solution design, and structured sales methodologiesProficiency with Microsoft Officesuite, CRM platforms and reportingStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills; proven ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlinesUndergraduate degree or equivalent professional experienceDesired:Strong ability to multitask and manage administrative components of the sales cycleDegree in fields such as Finance, Machine Learning, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or related disciplinesProficiency in a foreign languageRobust consulting background with experience shaping and selling multi-disciplinary solutions
