AtASTEK Iberia, we are looking for anData Engineer, to join our partner specialized platform for job search and recruitment in Spain. Design and build data pipelines:Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and Kinesis into Snowflake. Data modeling & architecture:Create efficient and scalable data models and schemas within Snowflake. Performance tuning & cost optimization:Optimize system performance and manage cost efficiency across AWS and Snowflake environments. Automation of data workflows:Implement automated workflows using tools like Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or Snowflake Tasks. Data governance & security:Ensure proper authentication, authorization, encryption, and access control through Snowflake RBAC and/or AWS IAM. Partner with SBS business teams (Sales & Support), data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to understand data needs and deliver scalable solutions. Data quality ownership:Develop data quality standards, monitoring procedures, alerts, and reporting frameworks.5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering. ~ AWS Step Functions Strong Snowflake expertise Python SQL Apache Airflow Snowflake Tasks (or at least one orchestration tool—Snowflake preferred)Since 2015, Astek Iberia has been accompanying its customers in their development throughout Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Basque Country, Andalusia, Galicia, etc.).
