Job Description: AC/DC Application Engineer

Who we want:

MPS is seeking a highly self-motivated engineer with strong knowledge in PMSM motor mechatronics. This person will work in supporting to introduce MPS motor solution in our potential customer, providing expertise knowledge and developing prototypes for specific applications. The engineer will collaborate with customers and design team and customers to propose novel solutions to expand current MPS portfolio.

Essential Functions:
  1. Evaluate existing MPS solution with different market's AC-DC voltage applications.
  2. Simulate and test AC-DC circuits and converter.
  3. Design evaluation board with the Technician team, to deliver a fully testable solution to MPS's clients.
  4. Validate, test and document new products to be able to release the product.
  5. Support marketing and sales on the development of Proof-of-concept and EVB for show our solutions to new customers.
  6. Write technical articles, datasheet and application notes to support client and MPS's sales team.
  7. Support customer around Europe and US to introduce MPS solutions.
Qualifications:
  1. BS in related engineering field (MS preferred).
  2. Solid understanding and experience in power electronic and analog design.
  3. Experience of modeling and control of power converter.
  4. Oral / written proficiency in English.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
