Job Description: Applications Engineer MPS is seeking a highly self-motivated professional to work in our Data Center product line.
Essential Functions: Develop reference design for Data Center applications Develop custom PCBs using our solution for worldwide customers Define specification and support the development of new products for the Data Center product line Test and qualify new parts according to the requirements of the part Write technical articles, datasheet, and application notes Support MPS's sales team and customers Qualifications: MS in related engineering field Solid understanding of circuits, signal integrity, transmission lines, clock recovery circuits and equalization techniques Solid experience with PCB design with high-speed signals (500MHz+) Good knowledge on high-speed communication protocols and testing Oral / written proficiency in English Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Location: Barcelona, Spain Monolithic Power Systems, Inc.
