Job Description:

Applications Engineer

MPS is seeking a highly self-motivated professional to work in our Data Center product line.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop reference design for Data Center applications
  • Develop custom PCBs using our solution for worldwide customers
  • Define specification and support the development of new products for the Data Center product line
  • Test and qualify new parts according to the requirements of the part
  • Write technical articles, datasheet, and application notes
  • Support MPS’s sales team and customers

Qualifications:

  • MS in related engineering field
  • Solid understanding of circuits, signal integrity, transmission lines, clock recovery circuits and equalization techniques
  • Solid experience with PCB design with high-speed signals (500MHz+)
  • Good knowledge on high-speed communication protocols and testing
  • Oral / written proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
