Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and driven Engineering Manager. The position reports to the Engineering Director (located in another country).
This role includes:
New Projects, New products industrialization, Lean process leader, best practices and continuous improvement.
The position will be based at the factory in Pontevedra, Spain, with frequent travel to other plants in Spain & Morocco.
What you do:
- Process Development, Optimization, and Industrialization.
- Drive Engineering Excellence in Automation and Industrialization Projects.
- Establishing and Standardizing Industrial Processes.
- Compliance and Improvement of Safety and Sustainability Standards.
- Budget Management and Industrial Cost Analysis.
- Technical and Industrial Skill Development for the Team.
- Industrial Risk Analysis and Complex Problem Solving.
- KPI Management.
What you bring:
- Engineering degree (Mechanical preferred).
- Experience in engineering in the Food Industry or FMCG (desirable but not exclusive).
- Proven experience in project management and processes, particularly in designing and implementing production lines.
- Good knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD, AutoDesk, or similar software.
- Fluent in Spanish & English is mandatory. Other languages, such as French & Italian, are a plus.
- Problem Solving, open-minded, team player, good presentation skills.
- Passion for excellence, flexibility, and change management.
- Organization, planning, and coordination skills.
