Mission The Purchase Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring material availability and supporting the stability of the company’s global supply chain. This position is responsible for executing tactical and strategic purchasing activities, maintaining reliable supplier performance, and securing competitive procurement conditions. The role contributes directly to operational efficiency by applying data-driven decision-making, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting the adoption of digital procurement tools and automated workflows.Responsibilities Demand Planning Support and Forecast Alignment Translate business signals, consumption patterns and production requirements into accurate purchasing needs. Contribute to forecasting processes by coordinating with planning, production and logistics teams. Maintain visibility of requirements through analytical platforms, dashboards and KPIs that enable timely decision-making.Strategic and Tactical Buying Execute purchasing activities for raw materials, consumables, surface-treatment products and equipment in line with cost, quality and service objectives. Support the development of sourcing strategies by providing market insights, supplier data and cost analyses. Conduct negotiations on pricing, delivery terms, technical specifications and service levels to ensure sustainable value. Maintain professional relationships with suppliers, ensuring alignment with quality, delivery reliability and continuous-improvement expectations.Operational Execution and Inventory Coordination Manage purchase orders, confirmations, delivery schedules and updates within the ERP system. Coordinate closely with production, warehouse and logistics teams to align purchasing actions with inventory targets and operational needs. Monitor supplier performance, delivery accuracy and lead times, triggering corrective actions when required.Process Optimization, Digital Tools and Risk Mitigation Support digital transformation initiatives in procurement, including ERP enhancements, automation tools and data-driven workflows. Promote data accuracy and effective system utilization to improve decision speed and transparency. Contribute to risk-mitigation activities such as supplier diversification, dual sourcing and compliance with internal governance and regulatory requirements.Required Qualifications Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply planning within industrial, manufacturing or automotive environments. Proven capability in commercial and technical negotiation. Strong analytical foundation applied to demand translation, cost evaluation and inventory coordination. Proficiency with ERP systems and purchasing platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SRM tools). Solid understanding of supply-chain principles, supplier performance management and international logistics. Experience collaborating with engineering, production, IT/digital and logistics teams.Preferred Experience Exposure to digital procurement tools, automation solutions or advanced analytics. Experience working with suppliers in materials science, manufacturing processes or engineered components. Familiarity with continuous-improvement methodologies or quality-management frameworks.
