Your mission

Schiller International University is seeking a dynamic and creative Brand Manager to oversee and execute the brand strategy for the university across all its campuses and online presence. The Brand Manager will play a critical role in enhancing the university's brand image, increasing brand awareness, and ensuring a consistent brand message. This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for higher education, a deep understanding of branding principles, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Your profile

1. Brand Strategy Development and Implementation:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with the university's mission, vision, and values.
  • Conduct market research to identify brand positioning and opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and key issues.
2. Brand Identity and Consistency:
  • Ensure consistent application of the brand's visual and verbal identity across all touchpoints.
  • Oversee the creation of brand guidelines and ensure adherence to these standards across the university.
  • Manage the university's visual and messaging elements to maintain brand integrity.
3. Marketing and Communication Campaigns:
  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that communicates the university's brand effectively.
  • Oversee the development and distribution of promotional materials, digital content, and advertisements.
4. Collaboration and Leadership:
  • Work closely with various departments, including Admissions, Alumni Relations, and Academic Affairs, to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support in brand-related activities.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to enhance brand initiatives.
5. Digital and Social Media Presence:
  • Manage and grow the university's online presence, including social media platforms, website, and digital campaigns.
  • Analyze digital marketing metrics and optimize campaigns based on performance data.
  • Ensure the university's digital presence reflects the brand's identity and engages the target audience.
6. Event Management and Public Relations:
  • Plan and execute brand-related events, both on-campus and virtual, to enhance brand experience and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee public relations efforts to manage the university's reputation and visibility.
7. Brand Performance and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze the performance of brand initiatives and campaigns.
  • Prepare reports on brand performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Utilize analytics to measure brand equity and impact on student recruitment and retention.
  • Regularly report brand performance metrics, campaign results, and strategic insights to the Marketing Director.
Position requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, marketing principles, and digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software, including social media platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.
  • Creative thinker with a results-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in the higher education sector is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to all university campuses as required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
