Campofrio Food Group is a subsidiary company of Sigma and is one of the largest and leading European companies which produces meat, dairy, and other refrigerated and frozen products that are sold through brands well-positioned throughout the markets where it participates. It is a dynamic, creative and sophisticated corporation with a strong focus on professional and business ethical values. We are currently looking for a Revenue Management Senior Specialist to join our Europe Revenue Management department.
Reporting directly to the Revenue Management Director of Sigma in Europe, the position will hold the following responsibilities:
Purpose:
With the guidance of the Revenue Management Direction, he will join a Global RM Center of Excellence that drives the broader development of methodologies, tools, and best practices across all our local operations in Europe, supporting the Local RM teams in performing advanced data analysis to generate informed actionable recommendations, which will directly have positive financial impact in the business. Following a well-structured Revenue Management methodology, it will be able to influence decisions in several areas (i.e. Commercial, Marketing). In addition, it will support the assessment of the feasibility of diverse ongoing plans (i.e. Marketing periodic plan), complementing them with future potential opportunities and identifying potential risks.
Key responsibilities:
1. Implement pricing / price pack architecture methodology (elasticities, price incentive curves, price piano, SKU price-average, price points trend, consumer / customer lens, competitive position, internal economics, strategy guardrails) in order to offer insights to several business areas (i.e. Commercial, Marketing teams) and propose actions that increase the profitability of the business.
2. Understand and analyze the results of mix management methodology (market momentum, fair share, brand development index, weighted distribution, and numeric distribution) to be able to generate proposals to diverse teams (such as the commercial team) by identifying which SKUs should be further promoted in different cities, clients and/or channels where growth opportunities are identified.
3. Perform portfolio optimization analysis (volume, profitability, direct losses, rotation, regional importance, production complexity, improper shrinkage, logistics complexity, minimum production batch) in order to present the organization with impactful portfolio optimization recommendations (what products to rationalize).
4. Perform promotional effectiveness analysis in order to differentiate profitable promotions (positive ROI), which can be replicated during future promotions. Support in the correct application of the promotion management model to ensure that promotional calendars are as profitable as possible and shared with our customers in a timely manner.
5. Perform Trade Spend analysis to identify the effectiveness of current investments in diverse clients (i.e. effective commercial conditions, adequate price list definition).
