We are currently looking to recruit a Bids & Tenders Specialist. Based in our office in Madrid, Spain and reporting to the Bids & Tenders Manager Iberia.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day tasks in the Bids & Tender department in Spain
  • Preparing and submitting tender proposals, correctly and in time
  • Tender and Contract data managementand continuous update,including all post-awarding tasks. This includes adhering to and working in accordance with all related work instructions within the scope of responsibility
  • Ensure prices are entered correctly in the pricing system (SalesForce)
  • Daily delivery block release process in SAP and customer invoice disputes resolution
  • Maintain and update customer data and hierarchies (e.g. buying group members)
  • Proactive tender management coordination in all phases of the Procurement and Contract lifetime.
  • Manage and develop the tender management process, look to make continuous improvements to the internal process.
  • Assess positive and negative tenders results for a continuous improvement and create own strategy
  • Ensure best bid creation where customers (internal and external) questions are answered, and the organization has the best possible chance of success
  • Maintain close cooperation with all stakeholders both internal and external
  • Support other countries as needed
  • Use all valid B&T tools to secure Compliance and Control within the country and follow and adhere to all rules and regulations (internal as well as external) within the department responsibility
  • Secure a strong network with Country Sales & Marketing Management

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum education required: Bachelor degree or comparable qualification
  • Fluency in English is highly appreciated
  • Experienced inSpanish Tendering, public procurement, purchase and contract law
  • Experience in a fast-paced organization with a quick and pragmatic decisions approach
  • Understanding of Spanish Health Care systems
  • Good Experience within pricing management
  • Experience working with SalesForce and SAP
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Financial awareness and numerical skills.
  • Extensive Computer software package skills (Microsoft user, advanced Excel skills)
  • Must maintain professional competence, ethical integrity, knowledge, and skills.
  • Ability to think out of the box and propose innovative solutions/approaches.
  • Very responsible and compromised with the department yearly goals
  • Time management, efficiency, the ability to meet deadlines work with minimal supervision
