Connect to your opportunity As a Manager, you’ll bring your growing expertise in AWS to bear on complex, real-world client challenges, working alongside experienced principals and architects to design and deliver solutions that are robust, scalable, and aligned to what our clients actually need.
As an AWS Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for:Design, develop, and maintain high-quality AWS solutions, platforms and pipelines.
Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance.
Engage and provide technical insight during system design.
Write well documented code and contribute to technical documentation.
Proactively troubleshoot issues, maintain the smooth operation of live services, and play a key role in resolving complex production issues.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies and AWS services, including Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Q Business, to enhance client capabilities and foster innovation.
Actively contribute to the engineering community.
Contribute to technical pre-sales activity, including the development of bid documentation, RFIs, RFPs, and participation in client presentations, helping Deloitte win and shape the engagements of tomorrow.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Deloitte's AWS capabilities, methodologies, and intellectual property.

The following are the core skills and experience expected to be successful in this role:Solid and demonstrable experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering or architecture, with a deep working knowledge of compute, storage, networking, and cloud management principles applied in professional delivery contexts.
A track record of designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based platforms and infrastructure, with a focus on AWS.
Hands on experience with AWS, including practical delivery across core services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon EKS, Amazon RDS, Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, Amazon VPC, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS Lambda, and AWS App Runner or AWS Fargate.
