Our team in Granollers currently has an opening for a Sales Manager Iberia .
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES- Product and Business Development:
- Identify and deliver new product and supplier opportunities within the overall segments and utilize customer and market potential to achieve growth.
- Support the sales growth of the product group.
- Provide product-market information to internal stakeholders & review product performance.
- Provide input for supply chain improvements.
- Leadership / Relationships:
- Develop strategic and operational relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the relevant supplier communities.
- Develop strong relationships with Brenntag internal colleagues and have the ability to manage and influence, without having direct authority.
- Lead an internal network for local product management focused on the product group to ensure delivery of strategies.
- Define and implement sales strategy and guidelines for Iberia Food.
- Set sales targets, budgets, and allocate resources.
- Manage assigned internal and external AM teams.
- Cooperate with Business Development, Customer Service, and PM / IMM, sharing best practices.
- Contribute to product development projects.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in selling to large and complex, multi-country/regional companies.
- Work experience in international settings.
- Knowledge:
- Master's degree (e.g., Food Technology, Engineering, Economics) or similar level of education.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Track record of developing strong and influential business relationships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as cultural sensitivity.
- High degree of analytical and conceptual thinking.
- High level of self-motivation and the ability to create business opportunities.
- Ability to take ownership and meet deadlines.
- Enthusiastic, determined, and highly motivated.
- Proven teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively and influence where no formal hierarchical relationship exists (matrix structure).
- Solid knowledge of MRP and CRM systems.
