Purpose of the role:

You will be working on inbound as well as outbound leads to acquire new advertisers for Google Ads Products. You will be responsible for your own client portfolio, optimizing your clients' campaigns, and ensuring that customer expectations are met.

You will become a specialist advisor for German companies regarding their online advertising campaigns, with the opportunity to significantly impact their business. It is a target-driven environment, where you will work towards individual sales targets as well as contribute to a larger sales team increasing the customer base across EMEA.

You will be part of a team creating unique customer experiences while actively influencing the German online marketing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new customers from provided outbound leads, close deals within the agreed budget, and up-sell where potential exists.
  • Understand customer requirements and objectives, and match Google Ads solutions and marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Develop sales strategies to optimize market potential and improve customer sales and profit margins.
  • Act as a sales "hunter" by proactively reaching out to companies in your portfolio.

Requirements:

  • BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Fluency in German (spoken, written, read)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • At least 1 year of experience in a sales environment
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Passion for sales, technology, and the internet, with a desire to learn and grow
  • Good understanding of the online landscape and ability to work with diverse business models
