Position Summary
The Light and Wonder Systems team builds the foundation of the cross-channel gaming experiences. We in product management are business owners of our product line, and advocates for all customer experience touchpoints and interactions for Operators across the world.
As a product manager for Systems, you will bring essential product management, business acumen and leadership skills to help us reimagine the end-to-end customer experience, while ensuring product adoption and its commercial success.
Specifically, you will own:
Product Area:
•Business Case– Establish the background and justification of the product strategy by explaining thebenefit and valueit creates for our business and customers. Work with development teams on cost, and present ROI and
options for execution leveraging current CCB and BUC processes.
•Customer Insights –Develop strong relationships with key customers to gather feedback, understand their
needs, and incorporate insights into product enhancements. Advocate for the customer throughout the product
•Competitive Landscape– Perform quarterly review of industry trends, emerging technologies, and SWOT
(Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis.
•Feature Definition: Translate market opportunities and product strategy into clear business requirements,
ensure that engineering teams have all the prioritization, sizing, and documentation needed to start scoping and
developing the product.
•UX / UI Design: Assist designers with the UX research, wireframes, and specifications needed to start crafting.
•Release Criteria: Define product acceptance criteria in UAT, private or public beta and GA (General Release).
• Survey users for their feedback if a trial is conducted.
•QA and Release Preparation: Ensure that feature and functions work as expected. Review and supplement QA test cases.
• Identify and submit bugs for engineering attention.
•Product KPO:Define what success looks like for the product by aligning on KPO (Key Performance
Objective). Provide best practices to help customers extract values from the product.
•Customer Success:Hold regular feedback session with customers, and with internal stakeholders from groups
such as Client Success, Sales, and Support. Participate in customer upgrades or go-lives (minimally two per year
as budget allows). Solicit testimonials or success stories for marketing use
Go-to-Market and Sales Enablement Area:
•Positioning: Own the Go-to-Market narrative on how the product should be positioned based the product
vision, the new functionality, key competitive differentiations, and the value it will deliver to the customers.
•Messaging: Work with sales enablement and marketing to create the initial messaging on product release.
Review all the internal and external communication plan.
Documentation: Review and help complete all product documentation, including release notes, troubleshooting
guides, FAQs and data sheets.
•Sales Training and Demos: Help create initial sales enablement collateral including demo material and talk
track to communicate the value of the product release. Conduct hands-on enablement training to sale teams.
Qualification Requirements:
Training and/or Experience:
• 7+ Years of experience in computer systems or business applications support, troubleshooting and analyzing problems
• 5+ Years in sales enablement
• Technical Operations knowledge required
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a business plan
• Proven track record of effective leadership and management combined with an innovative and market-driven approach
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent analytical skills and problem resolution skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lead, train and motivate staff
• Ability to work well with all levels of management
• The work conditions are representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations
