The role
ALS Geochemistry requires a Maintenance Officer to join our facility in Malaga.

Working in a close-knit team, you will be assisting with routine maintenance, fixing equipment and attending to breakdowns as required.

This full-time role will be responsible for:

  • Routine maintenance of all fire assay equipment.
  • Building and fabrication of laboratory equipment.
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance.
  • Maintaining equipment.

The role
ALS Geochemistry requires a Maintenance Officer to join our facility in Malaga.

Working in a close-knit team, you will be assisting with routine maintenance, fixing equipment and attending to breakdowns as required.

This full-time role will be responsible for:

  • Routine maintenance of all fire assay equipment.
  • Building and fabrication of laboratory equipment.
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance.
  • Maintaining equipment.
The Essentials
  • Trade qualifications are not necessary. However, previous experience with power tools & equipment on a professional or personal level is essential.
  • Welding & mild steel experience essential.
  • Mechanical aptitude is highly regarded.
  • Carpentry skills would be beneficial.
  • Excellent work ethic.
  • Committed to a safety culture while maximising productivity.
  • The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision whilst being committed to the work of a team.
  • Current driver's license (C class) manual and own transport to and from different sites in the Perth region.
  • Proven ability to handle a busy and diverse workload.
