Job Responsibilities:
Sales

  • Ensure that allocated Premium clients are introduced/contacted regularly and managed effectively in such a way as to justify the value of the "Premium" service.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to grow Premium client base through client referrals and networking.
  • Actively follow up on leads via referrals and networking
  • Regularly organize and lead seminars and sales events for premium clients/prospects as required. This includes creating appropriate material in conjunction with marketing team
  • Work alongside Market Strategist to provide market commentaries, and other PR functions as required.
  • Plan and execute marketing events, campaigns as directed by Head of Sales/ Head of Premium Client Management
Dealing duties

  • Handling incoming dealing lines (volumes will be dictated by client activity and market volatility).
  • Consistency, speed and efficiency of execution, attention to detail, accuracy and knowledge of market mechanics is expected in order to be able to efficiently carry out this role.
  • Dealing for both your allocated and personally recruited clients as well as covering for colleagues' client bases where necessary. This will also include nondealing client queries.
  • Adopt a firm and consistent approach towards resolving issues encountered and raised by Premium clients
Hospitality

  • Proactively and frequently entertaining clients (and prospects) at various sporting and cultural events, which will include "outofhours" commitment on evenings and weekends, as part of your relationship management expectations.
  • It may occasionally be necessary to work on bank holidays although time off is earned in lieu for this.

  • Management and trading revenue from premium house accounts
  • Trading revenue from introduced accounts
  • Cross selling and up selling of CFD products
  • Number of new accounts opened
  • Number of new accounts funded
Remuneration is a combination of fixed and variable. Commissions are linked to the trading revenue of new clients introduced on a trailing basis.

Essential

  • At least 35 years' experience of business development and sales
  • Relevant industry that deals with derivatives, FX or futures markets
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of financial markets
Desirable

  • Existing book of clients from previous employment
  • Worked within a financial environment, in dealing room

Qualifications:

  • Good degree/diploma in finance/business/accounting
  • CMFAS Modules 1B, 6 and 6A

Skills:

  • Business development with a hunger to grow business and network
  • Sales focused in terms of growing client base
  • Highly numerate
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Able to communicate with and develop relationships with clients
  • Excellent telephone manner, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages
  • Selfmotivated and able to work at a consistently high standard
  • Able to take proactive action when necessary
  • A logical and analytical approach
  • Able to work in a pressurised environment
  • Very well organised with good time management skills
