As the
Community Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition for the Universities with which GA works with.

You will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content, manage social media campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and optimize social media channels to meet our business objectives.

This role requires a strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and community management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads.
  • Create and curate engaging content for social media channels, including text, image, and video posts.
  • Manage daytoday social media activities, including scheduling and publishing posts, monitoring comments and messages, and engaging with the audience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing objectives and campaigns.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into the social media strategy.
  • Analyze and report on social media performance using relevant metrics and tools.
  • Identify opportunities for social media growth and improvement, and propose creative solutions to enhance brand presence.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors' social media activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as design and content, to ensure consistent brand messaging across all social media platforms.
  • Stay informed about social media platform updates and algorithm changes, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Strong understanding of social media metrics and analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and engage with the audience.
  • Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box to develop innovative social media strategies.
  • Experience with social media management tools, such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple social media channels simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles is a plus.
