At AWS Enterprise Support, Technical Account Managers (TAM) play a crucial role in supporting customers' innovative endeavors across various technologies such as Compute, Storage, Database, Big Data, Networking, Security, and more.

As a TAM, you will not engage in sales activities but instead, seize the opportunity to act as the primary technical consultant and the 'voice of the customer' for organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

The Role

  • Help design and implement strategies to enhance customers' adoption and utilization of AWS services.
  • Showcase your technical expertise and interpersonal skills to effectively represent AWS in customer environments and lead discussions with senior management on incidents, support, and risk management.
  • Offer proactive guidance and strategic advice to assist customers in planning and implementing solutions following best practices to maintain the operational health of their AWS environments.
  • Establish close relationships with customers to grasp their operational needs, technical obstacles, and aid them in extracting maximum value from AWS.

This role may involve occasional travel, approximately 10% or more when necessary.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of technical engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data, Security, and Applications Development
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Math or equivalent work experience
  • Fluency in Spanish
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated alignment with Amazon's leadership principles
  • Solid technical expertise in Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data, Security, and Applications Development
  • 5+ years of technical engineering experience
  • Knowledge of Information Technology operations
  • Experience as a technical lead in enterprise or customer-facing environments
  • Strong communication skills in presenting to decision-makers
  • Familiarity with cloud services
  • Practical understanding of 5G network architecture and troubleshooting
