IT Site Administrator - El Paso - Job DescriptionAbout the Role
This is a Site administrator role reporting to the EUC Manager for the region. The role will involve the day to day on site support of staff in the El Paso office.
What You Will Do
- Ensure desktop support internal processes and procedure are adhered to
- Manage incidents/ service requests assigned to them until resolution/ execution
- Provide support to local and remote users
- Handle end user escalation effectively and involve EUC Manager accordingly
- Route/assign tickets to appropriate support group if necessary identifying and escalating high priority, high severity issues
- Updating pending tickets with timely, precise and accurate updates
- Following up with end users or support groups, if necessary, for closure of pending tickets
- Creating and uploading knowledge base articles
- Provide support to internal projects and ensure all assigned projects deliverables are completed
- Understanding on Microsoft (MS) Windows 10/11, MS M365, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, network cabling and patching
- Hands and feet support for Network, Security, Server (Windows and Linux), and Unified Communications towers
- 5 years plus experience in and IT support role
- Understand requirements on the vision and roadmap on End user space
- Ability to design, deploy and manage end user computing environment.
- Good experience in core End User services domain
- Knowledge of computer/ Laptops/ Printers/ peripheral troubleshooting
- Experience and knowledge in various methodologies and models for end user services delivery.
- Awareness and experience in practice development initiatives
- Must have sound troubleshooting knowledge of Operating systems (MS Windows 10 and 11, Linux, MAC OS)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Spanish
- Work well in team environments and be selfmotivated/selfstarting
- Strong listening skills and ability to innovate and brainstorm around business ideas and needs
- Flexibility to support migration issues on the go, without supervision, deal with ambiguity, selfmotivated and results driven
- Able to derive results in an ambiguous setting and accomplish results in line with business needs.
- This role is a fulltime role in the El Paso office location
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
