Position Summary/Objective:

DeNexus is addressing cyber-risk management effectively with our DeRISK Software as a Service (SaaS) solution to empower decision-making for industrial operation risk owners.

Our Sales and Customer Success teams are searching for a dedicated pre-Sales Engineer to contribute to the expansion and support of the complete sales process, from nurturing provided leads to aiding in client education and adoption.

DeNexus DeRISK primarily targets risk-aware business users, but there are essential security technical aspects that necessitate involvement from technical stakeholders.

The role of the pre-Sales Engineer is to engage, educate, cultivate, and capture requirements from a diverse range of clients, including security teams, asset owners, CISOs, CDOs, CFOs, and risk managers.

The pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for showcasing DeNexus technology to cybersecurity, risk management, and operations teams within various industrial technology sectors.

The software demonstrations should align with the customers' objectives and explore ways to maximize the value of DeRISK throughout their organization.

This position entails capturing requirements, defining success criteria, conducting successful POCs, and fostering customer relationships. Given the novelty of industrial cyber-risk management, expect to guide and educate prospects/customers in this field using the DeRISK platform. Additionally, representing DeNexus at trade shows to generate leads and bolster the sales pipeline is part of the role.


Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Product Demonstrations: Present DeNexus technology strategies to cybersecurity teams, consulting firms, partners, and industrial asset owners across different verticals. Attend and showcase DeNexus technology at industry forums and conferences.

  • Solution Design and Consultation: Collaborate with the product leadership team to ensure customer requirements are incorporated into the DeNexus product roadmap.

  • Technical Expertise and Support: Contribute to pipeline growth and expansion within the installed base across various business areas. Demonstrated understanding or familiarity with industrial specifics and minimum business fundamentals. Engage in Proof of Concept (POC) activities.

  • Development: Capture requirements for successful POCs, align with prospects/clients on POC success criteria, plan and execute POCs effectively.

  • Proposal and RFP Support: Work closely with Sales Account Directors, contribute to proposal design, and coordinate responses to RFPs with the product team.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Collaborate with prospects/clients, internally report progress, enhance DeNexus brand awareness through platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter.

  • Continuous Learning and Development: Rapidly grasp and adopt DeNexus technology, become a recognized industry leader in cyber risk for cybersecurity teams and industrial asset owners across multiple sectors.

Qualifications/Requirements:

CRISC, CSSP certifications.

Minimum 5 years in a Sales Engineer role within a cyber risk assessment or auditing company, OEM vendor, cybersecurity software vendor, or cybersecurity service provider.

Experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions to end users in critical infrastructure, industrial technologies, or industrial control systems. Exposure to cyber risk assessment or risk management projects. Ability to comprehend customer technical and business requirements to deliver top-notch products.

High proficiency in spoken/written Spanish and English.


Skills:

Manage multiple complex sales transactions concurrently, explain intricate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, possess strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical and problems-solving abilities to address customer challenges effectively. Proactively identify and resolve customer issues. Flexible hybrid work approach connecting multicultural teams globally.
