Job Description:


At Sportradar we're aware of the impact our Sportsbook solution has on the leading brands in Sports betting and entertainment industry, therefore we're seeking a qualified business development manager to extend our global reach through expert cultivation of new, untapped business opportunities and relationships.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning team and Sportsbook product specialists and contribute to our growth initiatives, by including new customer acquisition and client optimization.


This position will join and contribute to a team of like-minded go-getters to achieve our company vision and will report to Business Development Director.

In day-to-day operations, Business Development Manager works in close cooperation with the Sales Directors, Sportsbook Product Managers, Program and Project Management, and other stakeholders within and outside Managed Sportsbook Services.


Activities and responsibilities

  • Develops proposals, bids, quotations, RFP/RFI responses, or other documents describing Managed Sportsbook products and services in response to requests from prospective clients.
  • Collaborates and coordinates with internal and external contributors and commercial/tender process experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities.
  • Manages and meets proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and due dates for the proposal.
  • Develops and establishes a repository of templates, standard language, Sportsbook product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources to create highquality and accurate responses in cooperation with Program Management.
  • Produces and negotiates offers and price deals, coordinating with sales colleagues, and supporting deal structure and pricing with businessvalue analysis.
  • Ensures the proper definition of the deliverables for a Sportsbook product (SaaS), and timelines of all deals under the scope. Ensuring that sufficient capacity is reserved to deliver to the agreed timeline
  • Establishes a tracking system with winloss information. Reviews and analyzes proposal/RFP losses to recommend enhancements to Sportsbook products or processes.
  • Monitors the Sportsbook product delivery process relying on Sales Directors and Account Management.
  • Maintains and shares professional knowledge through education, internal collaboration, events, and presentations.
  • Negotiates and coordinates the Master Agreements with the customers and works to close and update the contractual relationships with them.
  • Participates to trade fairs, sector meetings, and any other event deemed necessary to promote the Managed Sportsbook product and services.
  • Ensures the continuous alignment of all stakeholders, providing input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
  • Ensures highquality information on the business development updates are timely updated in all Sportradar systems (Salesforce CRM, Confluence, etc).

Required skills and qualifications

  • Successful track record in B2B business development, sales, and negotiation in the software/platforms industry, media, and entertainment industries.
  • Proven ability to manage sales and tender processes with large and enterpriselevel customers.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good understanding/knowledge of SaaS software development and delivery principles, as well as associated processes within.
  • Ability to deliver presentations effectively.
  • Adaptability to dynamic and evolving business requirements and tasks.
  • High proficiency in working with software tools (Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence, Salesforce).
  • Proficiency in document creation and management, data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in sports betting business development, sales, or procurement roles.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in eCommerce, Business Management, and Administration.
  • The capability of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
