We are a fast growing Fintech scaleup looking for a team leader for our SDRs based in Barcelona.

Our goal is to bring together our know-how and software to remove legal and practical obstacles and create an environment where equity-based compensation is available for every company.
We are seeking an SDR Manager to lead our Global SDR Team based in sunny Barcelona, Spain.


Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will have the opportunity to lead a passionate and driven team, contribute to the company's ongoing success, and be part of an innovative and dynamic organisation making waves in the incentives industry.

Optio is a Fintech company with offices in Oslo (HQ), Stockholm, Copenhagen, Berlin, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Montpellier and Zurich.

With the help of our internal financial experts, we develop technology to simplify all aspects of our corporate clients' (B2B) equity-based incentive programs for their employees.

Today, we work with customers such as HomeToGo, Northvolt, Tryg, Storytel, Bang & Olufsen, , Boozt, and many more, and we have doubled our turnover every year since we started in 2018.

Now we are gearing up into growth mode and are therefore looking for the next star who wants to join and play a crucial part in an exciting journey.


About the role


In the role of TL SDR at Optio, you will play an important role in the company's commercial team and the company's future plans.

You will be reporting directly to the head of sales based in Norway and be vital in Optio's commercial success initially working from our office in Barcelona, where we are setting up our hub for SDR activity.

The goal of your role is to lay the foundation for Optio's commercial development in the global markets by leading a team of 5 SDRs.

Hands on, you are leading by example, by kindness and dynamism.


You will use CRM tools and Marketing Automation tools extensively and you will have the opportunity to travel and work from our other offices in Europe.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives to generate salesqualified opportunities (SQLs).
  • Assist and support the team in effectively opening the sales cycle and nurturing prospects, also run some process yourself.
  • Oversee the outbound lead flow and monitor the efficiency of SDR activities.
  • Ensure the team can access the necessary tools and databases to succeed.
  • Conduct regular oneonone meetings with team members to support their target achievement.
  • Monitor HubSpot metrics and analyse activity.
  • Organise lead pipeline meetings on a regular basis to strategize and optimise results.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to consistently perform at their best.
  • Collaborate with our HR partner to recruit and onboard topperforming SDRs.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to enhance the quantity and quality of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
  • Provide constructive feedback and support the sales development team in refining their sales approach.
  • Cultivate a positive team environment with welldefined boundaries to keep the team focused on success and growth.
  • Proactively manage team performance, set targets, conduct performance reviews, and address underperformance.
  • Track sales targets and regularly report results to the Chief Commercial Officer or Sales Enablement Manager.
  • Conduct competitive analysis exercises to ensure an effective market approach.

To succeed in this role, we believe that:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience managing a sales development team or mentoring junior SDRs with a strong focus on people development and achieving top performance.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, additional languages is seen as bonus.
  • Proven experience in implementing and executing successful sales strategies and sales development plans.
  • Ability to identify gaps in performance and develop coherent frameworks and initiatives to address them effectively.
  • Solid B2B sales experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
