Key responsibilities

  • Perform statistical analysis of preclinical assays (invitro and invivo)
  • Implement automatic data workflows
  • Contribute to translational PK/PD modelling and simulation
  • Present analysis results to project teams and team members of other functional areas

Job Requirements:

  • MSc or PhD in biostatistics, statistics or related field
  • At least 4 years of working experience in drug discovery or drug development
  • Handson experience programming in R, Matlab or Python
  • Experience in the statistical analysis of preclinical assays
  • Experience implementing data workflows and data analysis in R, Matlab or Python
  • Good presentation and communication skills and ability to explain statistical ideas
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written

Valuable:

  • Experience in the design and analysis of assays to assess combination regimens
  • Experience in robust study designs
  • Familiar with translational mathematical PD models in preclinical drug development
  • Knowledge of nonlinear mixed effects modelling for population PK analysis
  • Knowledge of bioinformatics
  • Experience in drug discovery and development for infectious diseases
  • Knowledge of data management plans and data standards
