Tasks and Qualifications:
Mission:
Assemble and maintain machinery, performing operations such as preventive maintenance, corrective actions, safety checks, machine startup, and customer delivery. Provide technical and commercial assistance to clients during technical support interventions.
Main functions and responsibilities:
Technical Service tasks:
- Perform preventive maintenance following KION's established checklists for each machine model.
- Report breakdowns and repairs, identifying deficiencies, and managing spare parts replacement.
- Conduct safety tests on machines according to legal technical specifications.
- Install new machines, perform startup procedures, and deliver machines to clients.
- Prepare repair and spare parts supply quotes following organizational guidelines.
Customer commercial support:
- Advise customers on technical issues, spare parts, recommended and necessary repairs.
- Proactively identify sales opportunities for services, spare parts, new machines, and machine improvements.
Technical Assistance Bulletin (TAB) Generation:
Create bulletins following organizational guidelines concerning daily transmission, customer signing, assistance type coding, and spare parts identification.Management, custody, and care of assigned technical means and materials:
Proper use and maintenance of workshop vehicle, notebook, phone, tools, and spare parts inventory.Education, qualifications & Experience:
Medium or higher module of vocational training (Mechatronics or similar) or at least 1 year experience as a maintenance/repair technician in the sector.
Informal Training/Languages/Specific Knowledge:
- Product courses (new machines).
- Work procedure, preventive and corrective maintenance courses for machines.
- MS Office knowledge.
- Metal Working Risk Prevention Training (20h in-person).
- Basic/intermediate level of English.
