Job Description Purpose The role of Senior Consultant Business Applications at IFS involves managing incident, service request, problem, and change management. They work closely with internal and external stakeholders, part of an on-call team within Unified Support. These teams provide round-the-clock support for IFS customers using cloud services. They are experts in their product areas, guiding customers, and providing support based on the IFS offering. They also enjoy solving challenges to ensure business continuity, making customers advocates for IFS. While not responsible for managing people, they mentor junior team members, setting examples of best practices.

A Senior Consultant Business Applications brings deep functional and business knowledge of specific IFS product areas. They contribute to improving support scope definitions and processes and share their expertise with customers and peers. Essential Duties and Accountabilities

Qualifications Overall Required Competence
A Senior Consultant – Business Applications should demonstrate competency in the following areas: Basic level
  • Knowledge of technical architecture and external applications

Required Education & Experience Essential:
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Fluency in English
  • Industry experience and customer handling
  • Understanding of business value engineering and ERP software
  • Database knowledge (Oracle) and cloud platform exposure (Microsoft Azure)
Desirable:
  • Fluency in other languages
  • IT applications and technical experience
  • Knowledge in Azure, Oracle DB, Kubernetes, network, and Cloud security
