PT2 level 1Department:Credit and CollectionsRole location:BarcelonaRole purpose:Responsible for the cash collection activities and management for a defined portfolio of customers.
Key accountabilitiesThis role is responsible for the accounts receivable collection performance for a portfolio of customers.Key Responsibilities:
Manage the cash collection, account reconciliation and relationship of a selection of Key customers, contacting customers, performing activities as directed by automated workflow, or applying own judgement and time management.
Responsible for resolution of unallocated cash & credit requiring account reconciliation and/or customer contactTo work closely and provide support to our centralised functions in both Barcelona and India.
i.e.cash apps; disputesAttend monthly reviews and prepare business metrics for review with SSC line management and finance contacts in the relevant business unit to whom you are providing a serviceComply with Service Levels (SLA's) & manage own performance to improve/stabilise KPI'sCover for peersCompliance with the current process design and specifications, process excellence and data quality principlesInitiate improvements to policy and processColt Competencies Competency LevelAnalysis & Problem Solving Level - Tackles familiar challenges logically and applies appropriate solutionsCommercial Acumen Level - Acts responsibly in own roleContinuous Improvement Level - Suggests ideasCustomer Focus Level - Provides a helpful serviceProfessional Expertise Development Level - Pursues development in line with job requirementsWorking in Partnership Level - Cooperates with othersCommunicating with Influence Level - Communicates clearlyPlanning and Organising Level - Plans specific activitiesRole requirementsExperience:The ideal candidate must demonstrate the following essential attributes:Able to demonstrate a good level of competency in Cash CollectionReady for next collector level with complex customer accountsGood level of Dispute resolution and management experienceUse of Collection software i.e.
software driving automated workflow and tasksComputer literate with knowledge of Oracle, SAP or similarPossess good understanding of Microsoft office suite i.e.
Excel, Presentation, etc)Complex Customer account reconciliation skillsResults focussedGood level of Financial & Business acumenExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, persuasion and negotiation skillsSelf starterKnowledge of Shared Service environmentAll fluent in written and spoken GERMAN plus English.Qualifications:
Qualified by experience Graduate (preferable)
