Purpose


This role leads Internal Communications for Experian's EMEA & APAC region as part of the talent, culture & communications team in the HR Function.

EMEA & APAC comprises multiple countries spread across all time zones within the region.

The role will be responsible for creating and executing an effective internal communications and engagement strategy. The communication strategy will help our 4500+ employees within EMEA & APAC connect with our purpose and business strategy. It supports the EMEA & APAC CEO, in understanding and driving engagement for all our employees.


This role requires the ability to think strategically, understand the business, see the bigger picture, and transform complex information and ideas into personal and compelling stories, using creative approaches.

This will be achieved through the development and implementation of highly inspiring and creative campaigns and introducing fresh approaches to delivering internal communications.

You will be able to use storytelling to bring the strategic communications themes to life.

The role will partner closely with many stakeholders.

These include the EMEA & APAC Human Resources team and local Internal Communication team members both in the Markets and the GDCs to build inspiring stories that link our business transformation agenda with our culture, engagement and CSR priorities.

The role will also liaise with the regional Marketing Director to ensure external and internal communication plans (including PR and Events) and content are aligned.


The role will work closely with the CEO for EMEA & APAC to translate the vision and strategy for the region into inspiring and compelling messages.

The ability to work with senior stakeholders is therefore an essential element of the role.

Essential

Responsibilities:

  • Develop tailored communications to support our people leaders in the delivery of strategic messages through a bespoke channel mix.
  • Build a regional events and communications plan, aligned with the business cycle and HR activity and proactively identify opportunities (key events, activities etc.) to bring to life our key business priorities and initiatives.
  • Ensure close alignment with global and local communications teams and planning, as well as the regional external communications efforts and themes.
  • Work closely with colleagues from across the business to develop plans and content for integrated communications, settingup and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams where appropriate to make sure that communications efforts are relevant, consistent and driven for maximum impact.
  • Produce high quality and compelling content and business news stories.
  • Develop and implement creative communications using a mix of channels and approaches.
  • Partner with the Head of Talent, Culture and Communication to act as the lead for regional CSR strategy and activities, leveraging global and local initiatives
  • Continually review and develop our internal communications channels, finding new and innovative ways to connect and engage with a multicountry audience.
  • Provide communications advice and support to senior leaders and key business initiatives.
  • Partner with HR, senior leaders and project teams to develop and deliver integrated communication strategies that bring our priorities and projects to life and showcase our priority culture & engagement initiatives.
