As the Digital Content Manager for G-, you will oversee the content on our online store across all regions and devices.

Leading a (remote) team of 5, you will spearhead the planning, execution, and maintenance of the digital content strategy to enhance the G-Star user experience and optimize digital performance. Operating with a global and regional perspective, you will harmonize global brand ambitions with local market dynamics to deliver a coherent brand encounter for users.

Highly methodical, you excel in streamlining CMS operations and liaising with stakeholders. Meticulous in attention, you ensure adherence to G-Star standards and visual directives.

Directing our online presence from a product angle, you will give special attention to the launch process of new products and the upkeep of existing items and categories. You guarantee the upkeep of top-notch site presentation.

Collaborating closely with the Marketing team, you will craft engaging stories through our Stories article platform. From product debuts to brand ventures, you will infuse narrative elements across our website to engage and motivate our patrons, ultimately fostering brand loyalty, search visibility, and conversion rates.

Sharpened by analytics, you will assess the performance of campaigns and content, leveraging diverse tools, perpetually seeking avenues to enhance user experience. Centered on customer needs, you will weigh brand and customer implications prior to making any decisions.

As the Digital Content Manager, you will collaborate closely with several key players to realize the strategy:

Brand Marketing team including Design UX, CRO & Product teams Digital Trade SEO Regional teams in North America, Japan & South Africa

As G-Star propels our content strategy to new heights, you will actively pursue novel optimization opportunities. Shouldering responsibility for your domain, you will steer projects from inception to realization, iteratively honing strategies for optimal outcomes.

Situated in our Valencia hub and overseeing a predominantly Amsterdam HQ-based team, you possess strong communication competencies and adeptness in leveraging remote collaboration tools & technologies to foster team cohesion and engage stakeholders.

Your responsibilities and tasks:

Overseeing content on G- across all regions and devices. Ownership of content strategy - planning, execution, and management. Devising and implementing strategies to enhance brand experience and amplify digital performance in alignment with our ambitious objectives. Ensuring prompt and precise introduction of new products on the site. Pioneering brand & product narrative endeavors. Supervising a team of 5 adept digital content experts. Steering digital content strategy, leading and participating in projects as required.

Qualifications needed:

3-5 years of pertinent e-commerce experience in the Apparel, Fashion, and/or Retail sector. Robust experience in managing e-commerce platform content on a day-to-day basis. Familiarity with Amplience, Hybris CMS and/or Html is advantageous. Proficiency in technical SEO. Demonstrated affinity with Apparel and Fashion. Capability to generate e-commerce trends and performance reports utilizing Google Analytics (or similar tools). Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, information technology, or fashion.

G-STAR competencies:

Keen eye for details. Hands-on and proactive, adept at multitasking. Proficient in English, fluency in other languages such as Dutch, German, or French is a plus. Fashion enthusiasts welcome
