What will be your role?
As a mechanical/energy engineer, you will be involved in the engineering team making developments of engineering including Design, Construction, Mounting and start-up of industrial facilities.
Your main contribution will be:
- Generate project specifications, design philosophy, PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, operation manuals to comply with clients' requirements.
- Carry out process simulations and develop heat and material balances.
- Carry out process design for reactors, columns, drums, heat exchangers, tanks and develop respective process datasheets.
- Carry out hydraulic design for pumps, compressors, blowers and develop respective process datasheets.
- Conduct or attend P&ID design reviews, HAZOP, IPF, SIL studies, 3D model reviews.
- Prepare design outputs, datasheets, and drawings.
- Support the Construction Team during the construction phase and carry out site checks.
- Support the Commissioning Team during plant or unit startup.
- Coordinate with Project Team and other Department Engineers to facilitate smooth progress of engineering work.
- Perform other functions that may be assigned by the Department Manager.
AndWhat will make you succeed with us?
- University Degree or Master in mechanical specialties, industrial technologies, industrial systems, electronics, automation, energy, electrical engineering or similar.
- At least 2 years of demonstrable experience in similar positions.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, both Spanish and English.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Office.
- Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Capacity for teamwork.
- Able to work independently, with mínimal supervision.
- Proactive and able to resolve issues.
- Good organizational skills with attention to details.
- Willing to travel and in some cases relocate to project location.
- Knowledge in Data Centers will be a plus.
- An amazing working environment in our Madrid office close to Atocha station.
- An international and dynamic team with the opportunity to move in our different locations (Dubai, etc.).
- An attractive remuneration package _(24.000€ €) depends on seniority and experience_).
- Flexible work environment: Monday to Thursday) start between 7am10pm and finish between 4:30pm8pm), Fridays until 1pm or 2pm.
