The role of Support & Sys Admin Manager (leading a small team) is crucial for the smooth operation of location-based LBVR setups using our Unity-based software, Univrse Experience Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar.
- 5+ years of proven technical support experience, preferably in VR or gaming.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Unity and VR tech.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and systems administration.
- Excellent communication skills for client and team interaction.
Your responsibilities:
Technical Support Leadership:
- Lead a team resolving software, hardware, and operational issues at client sites.
- Manage and prioritize support requests efficiently.
- Create and update user manuals for local teams.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams on complex issues.
- Document and report issues to relevant teams.
- Establish best practices.
Client Relationship Management:
- Handle high-level technical escalations and ensure client satisfaction.
- Collect feedback for software and content enhancement.
Office Sysadmin Leadership:
- Supervise the internal IT infrastructure team.
- Enforce security measures and uphold industry standards.
Systems Maintenance and Optimization:
- Develop processes for monitoring and enhancing VR installations and internal systems.
- Identify and implement system improvements for better performance.
Team Development and Training:
- Conduct performance evaluations and offer professional guidance.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive initiatives for process efficiency and enhancement across teams.
Language requirements:
Must be fluent in Spanish and have an intermediate level of English.
