We are currently looking for a Head of Retail to join a top-notch digital agency based in Madrid, collaborating with a strong client in the technology and communications sector, present in more than 30 countries. The main mission of the Head of Retail will be to lead the retail strategy in Spain through innovation and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Define and oversee sales, margins, and profitability objectives of the stores in Spain.
- Monitor and track operations of the retail points, including product management, merchandising, shopping experience, and process optimization to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and implement new strategic plans to boost sales growth and improve profitability (promotions, loyalty programs, special sales actions, local events, etc.).
- Facilitate communication between HQ, the main client, and sales teams to keep them informed about new products, best practices, corporate policies, and brand initiatives.
- Ensure a unique and high-quality shopping experience in all stores, maintaining customer service standards.
- Foster professional growth of the retail department team.
- Implement and develop a culture of continuous feedback, promoting meetings to review performance and establish action plans for continuous improvement.
- Share best practices, ideas, innovation, and add value to work processes and procedures.
- Coordinate, monitor, and control costs and project timelines for new store openings or remodels.
- Implement and enforce VM policies for stores, promoting initiatives and improvements.
- Manage, train, and develop the Retail Department team.
- Higher education in Business Administration, Industrial Design, Marketing (Master's in Financial Management preferred).
- Very high level of English (international professional use).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar position.
- Team management experience.
