Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Sales Manager will be accountable for executing business growth plans, to deliver against the budgeted revenue figures.


At Commify we have thousands of customers all of whom use messaging looking to improve the customer experience, marketing and various other uses.

We are looking for a Sales Manager to drive the team in managing our enterprise/SME customers with the aim of protecting our existing recurring revenue and just as importantly, growing these relationships by introducing new messaging solutions across every customer touchpoint.

Alongside, this role is responsible for guiding new and potential customers through the entire sales process; from the generation of leads and first point of contact, to negotiations and deal closure.


PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role holder will be responsible for:

  • Understanding Key Account customers, developing short, medium and long term strategies to drive the team to achieve its revenue targets and growth plans
  • The entire new business sales funnel and personnel, currently comprising a mix of roles including SDRs, Telesales agents etc.
  • Supporting the team to manage the existing customer base of recurring revenue and grow those relationships to achieve desired year on year growth
  • Managing the weekly forecast for Revenue and Gross Profit, exceeding all financial goals; revenue, gross profit, product sales etc
  • Maintain comprehensive weekly reports on team results, activities, lead flow, pipeline building, competitive intelligence, sales contests, etc
  • Onboard new customers into the team to ensure new customers realise the value of our products and services
  • Develop a high performance growth culture in the across the sales team to attract, develop and maintain leading sales talent
  • Conduct regular one on one meetings with the team to review activity metrics, pipeline building, review calls, review target account lists and discuss training and development
  • Managing the team to success via a systematic review process including the agreement and setting of clear, concise goals and objectives
  • Joining the team on quarterly business review calls with customers to identify new opportunities and protect existing revenue
  • Building collaborative relationships with other key Commify stakeholders including Service, Marketing, Product and Delivery
  • Using these key relationships to drive and influence product functionality, market segmentation and campaigns to enable incremental revenue growth

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Essential

  • Multiskilled sales manager with a proven track record of driving high levels of activity with sales, within a B2B environment
  • Proven success running effective outbound sales campaigns across multiple industry sectors
  • Multiskilled sales manager with a proven track record of managing both telephony and face to face sales people
  • Hands on experience of working in New Business, from Telesales through to High Value Business Development
  • Highly analytical and data driven being able to understand mechanics of the sales funnel and how to develop sales process and people to achieve desired results
  • Experience recruiting, training and coaching account managers
  • An effective "handson" manager continually participating in sales calls and providing feedback, coaching and training to improve performance
  • Highly accountable for the results of the team
  • A problem solver, able to work with others in the organisation to quickly identify challenges and issues, and solve them
  • Possess strong analytical skills; able to quickly assess key activity metrics, CRM data, lead data and turn this information into actionable initiatives for the sales team
  • Energy to be the driving force of the team
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, including experience of all aspects of the sales cycle and workflow generation
Desirable

  • Experience using/knowledge of Salesforce
  • Expertise or experience with software as a service solutions to customers
  • Expertise or experience with telecommunication or business messaging solutions

Up to 57,000.00€ per year
