We are seeking a Penetration Testing Engineer who has a strong passion for security-at-scale. You will be on a team responsible for continuous assessments:
  • Solve complex technology problems
  • Build tools to automate tasks
  • Influence Amazon services to respond to and mitigate threats

Amazon is at the forefront of security issues for various platforms and technologies like cloud services, IoT, identity and access management, mobile devices, virtualization, and custom hardware, all at a massive scale.

We are in need of a Security Engineer

to ensure our services, applications, and websites meet top security standards.
  • Perform web application, network, and operations penetration testing
  • Automate repetitive tasks
  • Influence Amazon services through threat mitigation plans

Key job responsibilities:

  • Penetration testing of proprietary software and hardware for AWS services
  • Manually audit source code of web services and software by Amazon
  • Write proof of concept code for security issues
  • Communicate issues clearly to developers

A successful candidate should possess a mix of troubleshooting, technical, and communication skills along with the ability to make complex decisions.

We are open to candidates working from various locations. Minimum qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, along with experience in security testing, source code auditing, scripting, and various security engineering practices.
