About the team:


The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re and is responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance, and defining as well as advancing the company's security strategy.

The team you'll work in - the Penetration Testing team - provides pentest capabilities and services to all Swiss Re operations across the globe.

We're looking for a responsible key player who is willing to improve and develop strategies for our existing pentest processes and work with external security companies to strengthen our services and infrastructure.


In your role, you will:

  • Continuously improve existing pentest processes
  • Develop longterm strategies for pentest services
  • Efficiently deliver security assessments and penetration test reports
  • Help the development teams remediate findings by providing recommendations
  • Engage in "lessons learnt" sessions and create informative materials for developers and relevant partners
  • Push forward management activities with internal and external security companies providing pentests
  • Cooperate closely with IT professionals and specialists across the globe

Your qualifications:

Nobody meets 100% of our requirements. If you, however, meet some of the criteria below and are curious about the world of penetration testing in a multinational company, we'll be more than happy to meet you

What we need from you:

  • Demonstrated ability in information security and penetration testing
  • Industryrelevant certification (SANS, Offensive Security, INE, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Top 10 Vulnerabilities, testing procedures, and remediation recommendation
  • Knowledge of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests of web, network, mobile (Android, iOS and Windows), Cloud and API security assessments is a plus
  • Good understanding of software development and architecture
  • Experience with vulnerability management and Pentesting tools (BurpSuite, nmap, Qualys, Nessus, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and unambiguously to both business and technical audiences
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
