About HR In addition to flawless HR services and guidance to our line managers and our employees, our International People department is responsible for determining policy and innovation and development in the areas of recruitment, reward, talent development and metrics/analytics for our own employees.
SD Worx, as an HR service provider, wishes to set a good example of innovative solutions internally and, together with the business divisions, to think about new ways of thinking, products and plans of approach. Recruitment and selection, talent management, wages and benefits are combined in a single overarching framework.
About the role
- Within our Spanish People team we are currently looking for a People Country Leader.
- This role will ensure flawless service to our line managers and employees, emphasizing attracting, developing, and retaining talent, employability and engagement combined with smooth and qualitative HR operations.
- You will be part of the Spanish management team, report to an international People Director, and enjoy working in an international matrix structure.
Your responsibilities:
- You are the strategic business partner for local Spanish management and international hiring managerson various HR topics, you provide real added value and thus contribute to the realization of our business objectives.
- You actively coach your local management team in the application of all HR-related processes.
- You ensure, together with your People Specialist, a flawless implementation of the SD Worx's People strategy in Spain.
- You develop, together with our corporate people department, strategic HR projects for Spain and ensure their implementation and evaluation.
- You are a true positive SD Worx leader, you motivate your team and let your colleagues grow. You coach them to become self-leaders.
- You maintain an overview of the various HR priorities, tools and processes for and in SD Worx Spain at all times and continuously strives for improvement;
- You proactively advise and give end-to-end support to your People Director Ensure the Spanish business is kept up to date with all legal developments from a HR Perspective.
What do you have to offer?
- Have a minimum of 8 years' experience in an HR business partner / HR management role;
- Strong, influential HR professional with experience operating in a fast-paced, commercial, international business environment.
- Excellent relationship-building, consulting, communication, and influencing skills with the intellectual capacity and knowledge of the marketplace to be credible within this environment.
- Demonstrated business partnership experience at Senior levels, offering expert professional advice to aid decision-making.
- Show drive, flexibility, and eagerness to support and facilitate growth and change; Be a team player and inspiring positive leader with a genuine passion for customer experience.
- Ability to motivate and coach people and make them work together in a matrix structure; Knowledge of Spanish labour law and payroll is a plus.
- Be proactive and customer-oriented; Be an innovative, critical friend Be passionate about People
- Speak and write English fluently
