The role of the Learning & Development Coordinator The Learning & Development Coordinator helps to coordinate and organize a range of development activities that contribute to the attainment of the Company's clearly prescribed performance standards and Hotel Goals.

Essential Functions Assist L&D Manager in creates a compelling picture of how the learning function can improve the performance of the hotel and execute the strategy.

Assist L&D Manager in Develops long rage learning, development, and human performance strategies to implement the vision.

Responsible for an indirect reporting relationship with the Designated Trainers, ensuring their roles and responsibilities are supported, developed, and adhered to standards achievement.

Assist L&D Manager in Trains new Designated Trainers when required .

Assist L&D Manager in g uiding the new managers with the knowledge and skills to successfully complete their probationary period.

Is a champion for Core and Culture Standards achievement through training, testing, campaigns, and initiatives.
Is involved in ensuring the necessary training and learning is conducted in departments on a consistent basis.
Is able to facilitate learning programs for employees when is required.
Experience with Forbes and LQA standards , knowledge and training.
Knowledge and Skills Education : Hold a bachelor degree in Learning & Development, Business Administration or Human Resources or related

Experience :
Minimum one (1) year of relevant working experience in learning and development
Prior experience in a hospitality highly required

Skills and Abilities :
Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment
Experience in employee engagement, employer branding, onboarding will be advantageous
Ability to read and speak and write English and Spanish Understand and familiar with quality standards and service standards of the hotel
Reasonable cost analysis and cost management skills
Highest level of integrity and transparency
Apply an ethical approach to the outcome of situations
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams and vendors' delivery man
Reasonable problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner
