The activities of EIT InnoEnergy are managed through our regional offices located in Benelux, Central Europe, France, Germany, Iberia and Scandinavia.

Portfolio Manager
The Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Management, the Portfolio Manager will use appropriate tools and procedures to ensure:
Preparation of investment committee proposals (initial cases and follow-ons) and participation in such committees Structuring of new investments and follow-ons Coordination of portfolio company exits Review and negotiation of investment documents with other investors and investee Link with investment teams in different offices to analyse new investment structures and follow-on proposals Preparation of Investment committee decision letters Leading role in the valuation of companies and design of portfolio dashboards and market analysisThe Person
You are a team-player with networking and intercultural skills who values building and maintaining relations You work independently and you have the ability to build trust with different stakeholders Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority Eager to learn new skills in venture capital and investment management in general You are positive, curious to learn and open mindedRequired Skills and Experience
You have:
MBA or other similar degree from top-tier graduate school 8+ years experience in venture capital, investment management or banking Previous experience in early stage investing, exits and cleantech will be a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English is a requirement Ability to interact and coordinate with investment teams based in different locations Experience working in multinational environments Self-assertive and results oriented Travel is requiredThis position is preferably based in EIT InnoEnergys Spanish offices (Madrid and Barcelona) although another location where EIT InnoEnergy has an office can also be considered.
A valid work permit is required.
