Job description
To grow and diversify the company's business by developing new areas of activities, relevant to SOGECLAIR aerospace offers, within our existing footprint and with new customers / new segments.
The position will be based out of Sogeclair aerospace's office located in Madrid and address all relevant customers within the whole Spain zone.
Tasks:
- Reports to the Spain senior sales manager on a hierarchical basis and to the SGA Spain region CEO on a functional basis ;
- To be the lead for bid activity across all Product Streams, coordinating the commercial, engineering and quality inputs and drafting bids / proposals ;
- To prepare and present compelling relevant data to prospective clients ;
- To progress bid submissions through successful bid closure and PO receipt ;
- To manage customer interfaces in conjunction with the Commercial and Engineering functions and to take a lead role in building positive client working relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction which retain established business and lead to possible repeat business. ;
- To support Sogeclair aerospace transnational business development ;
- To develop and maintain working relationships with engineering competitors and manufacturers to ensure as wide a consideration as possible is given to Sogeclair aeropsace's capabilities ;
- To lead the Bid / No Bid decision process ;
- To identify and manage risks ;
- To support the Sales Director in business plan development ;
- To support the MD and other managers with administrative requirements as required ;
- To develop, maintain and support the relevant aspects of the company's quality management system ;
- To develop, maintain and support the relevant aspects of the company's health and safety policy ;
- To develop, maintain and support a continuous improvement philosophy ;
Profile
- Training, experience and formal qualifications in sales are essential.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role in a relevant environment, with a demonstrable track record of achievement and bringing business prospects to contract closure.
- Engineering understanding and awareness ;
- Good understanding of IT systems and software ;
- Excellent written and spoken English, French is a plus ;
- Ability to produce concise, structured and innovative written reports and bid proposals ;
- Good knowledge of Sogeclair aerospace's principal markets and customers ;
Soft-Skills :
Strong commercial and personnel acumen.
- Proven track record in delivering results.
- Commitment to resultsbased performance.
- Able to represent the Company at senior level within Customers organisations and to establish sound professional and personal relations with key customer counterparts.
- Able to work within a small team and engineering office environment.
