The Team:

With the rapid expansion of e-commerce, especially on platforms like Amazon, Mattel has swiftly adapted to thrive in this space by transforming our operations, team structure, and brand offerings to position ourselves as preferred partners for Amazon. This strategic shift has resulted in remarkable sales growth that outpaces industry norms.

The Mattel Amazon team functions as a distinct Regional Team within Europe, operating within a matrix setup with specialized Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and HR units spread across the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands. Beyond managing Amazon sales in the region, the team also sets the marketplaces strategy and serves as a hub of expertise for all things related to e-commerce.

In response to Amazon's expanding footprint, we have expanded our reach from overseeing 5 European markets to 9 in the past three years. Additionally, we've introduced a dedicated Marketing team focused on Category Management and Media at the regional level. This proactive approach reinforces our strategic partnership with Amazon and strengthens our robust pan-European business relationship.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inquisitive e-commerce enthusiast to join a crucial segment of our commercial team and contribute to executing promotions, analyzing performance data, and planning future initiatives.

What Your Impact Will Be:

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Participating in brainstorming sessions, meetings, and collaborative projects to nurture creativity and teamwork Assisting in day-to-day operations, projects, and administrative tasks within the team Collaborating with multiple teams across Mattel, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations Having a strong interest in toys, games, e-commerce, and Amazon

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's or master's degree in Marketing or related fields Prior experience in Marketing, preferably in Digital or E-Commerce Fluency in English, with proficiency in Spanish considered a plus Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools like Word, PowerPoint, and Project Analytical capabilities Ability to adapt and think creatively Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Curiosity and a penchant for challenging conventional norms Team player with a multicultural mindset and a respectful demeanor
