The Job's Mission


Reporting to the Business Unit Manager of the Trauma division in Spain, the Product Manager is responsible for the development of specific marketing plans and activities for products of the different franchises to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena.

Bring the link between Stryker and current KOL's in the territory.
Develops business plans and product positioning in the marketplace, oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs.

The senior Product Manager establishes pricing strategies and works with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to develop new products or enhance existing products or product lines.

What you will do:

  • Author and leverage marketing team to create key strategy documents: strategic plan, annual marketing plan, product launch plans, etc
  • Surface new or unexpressed customer needs, leading to product/program improvements
  • Adhere to organizational protocols, practices and procedures for gathering competitive information
  • Drive segmentation and targeting methods to improve commercial efficiency
  • Develop pricing approach consistent with the marketing strategy and brand positioning
  • Accurately forecast resource needs
  • Establish metrics and goals/success criteria and milestones
  • Demonstrate financial acumen
  • Hold self and others accountable to deliver high quality results with passion, energy, and drive to meet business priorities
  • Mentor, develop and inspire others
  • Collaborate and influence others on crossfunctional teams, advancing partnerships to achieve business objectives
  • Develop key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations, and institutions, in collaboration with other marketing leaders

Requirements of the role:

  • Bachelor's degree required (MBA preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Min 3 years of sales or marketing experience in Medical Devices required
  • Experience working in Trauma or with orthopedic implant will be ideal
  • Fluent level of Spanish and English
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
  • Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
