Scopely is seeking a Lead Technical Product Manager to join the Monopoly GO game team. As a worldwide group of gaming enthusiasts, we are dedicated to pushing boundaries, releasing, and revolutionizing the mobile gaming sector, connecting millions of individuals globally on a daily basis. Monopoly GO, our latest casual game and a flagship brand, has recently become Scopely's biggest hit, delighting millions of players. Our team operates from Europe and the US, tirelessly crafting immersive new adventures for our players.
What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborate with project leadership to steer initiatives targeting reliability, technical performance, developer efficiency, and platform adherence
- Ensure transparency, uniformity, and predictability in team functions, enhancing developer experiences and player satisfaction
- Harmonize technical endeavors with customer demands, product aims, and business targets, constructing compelling narratives around technical efforts and defining KPIs for gauging impact
- Cooperate with multiple development squads to enhance existing technologies or devise new ones geared towards bolstering the continuous advancement and triumph of Monopoly GO
- Interact and coordinate across departments to achieve personal engineering goals and common business objectives
- Assess technical risks, ensure prompt mitigation, and uphold communication throughout stakeholders
- Collaborate with Product, Production & Engineering leads to carve out and rank the technical journey map
- Execute effective procedures and norms to cultivate a constructive work atmosphere and ensure punctual delivery of top-notch work
- Foster a collective, all-encompassing, and top-performing team environment rooted in perpetual enhancement and professional growth
- Supervise project advancement, deliver regular updates, and generate comprehensive reports outlining accomplishments, obstacles, and strategic suggestions
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years involved in overseeing technical aspects of game development teams on a large scale
- An advocate of engineering ethos and a potent advocate for inter-domain and product communication
- Detailed understanding of technical project administration techniques and utilities
- Exceptional communication and social skills
- Capacity to juggle numerous projects concurrently
- Robust leadership and team handling abilities
- Extensive proficiency with Unity and AWS back-end
- Ability to work collectively with multifunctional teams
- Robust problem-solving and analytic skills
