Data Driven Business Insights

Location : Tres Cantos (Madrid, Spain)

Type of Role : permanent, full time

This role will support our Therapeutic Areas (Tas) and transversal functions, being responsible for bridging business understanding and data capabilities to lead a mindset change across the organization to achieve excellence on our business decision-making processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Consultancy to our Therapeutic Areas

Promote business excellence and transformation by identifying business needs and developing actionable plans to improve performance based on customer and market understanding, leveraging the value of data

Review and analyze business performance by therapeutic area, leading and implementing process improvement recommendations across the organization

Support Commercial and Finance stakeholders on the establishment & development of medium-long-term strategic plans through identifying internal and external issues and opportunities.

Engage with the business stakeholders throughout the organisation to identify and prioritise business needs and portfolio of projects in which to leverage company data and / or advanced analytics to drive business solutions, improve performance and add value

Lead the analysis agenda to deeply understand our customers, our and their actions, our product offering and experience, what works or doesn't, and develop future strategy based on that understanding

Lead the development of on-demand analysis to the business (and coordinate potential providers if required), ensuring that powerful insights are extracted of these projects

Lead the development of analyses on salesforce performance KPIs

Map the competitive landscape of our brands

Data-driven analysis

Lead and implement a comprehensive data strategy for managing all data at GSK Spain

Responsible to empower the analyses of our business performance utilizing advanced analytic techniques and big data sources to identify opportunities and risks for the brands and support the execution of our vision and goals

Lead the development of sustainable data driven solutions with current new generation data technologies to meet the needs of organization and business customers

Work in close alignment with Tech to ensure key enabling infrastructure, systems, and data standards are in place

Work closely with Digital team to maximize through data our omnichannel strategy and optimization of customer experience

Continuous search of potential new sources of data

Data-driven company culture

Drives change towards a data driven organization launch

Internally communicates the impact of data driven initiatives

Fosters the usage of data driven analysis in the day-to-day of GSK business units, through our Data Citizen program

Fosters a ROI based mindset across the organization, based on data to maximise the impact of our activity

Responsible for promoting advanced analytics techniques-based decision-making in our commercial organization by delivering clear data and analytic stories and ensuring the opportunities and risk are well understood

Works in close collaboration with the Capabilities team to ensure that the organization has the capabilities required to maximise the value of Data and Data Driven decisions

Participates in external speaking engagements

Participates in data & AI related forums to position the company

Leverage AI to maximise our performance

Support the Innovation & Commercial Director, and the whole Spanish SLT, in the prioritization of AI / GenAI solutions pipeline

Lead the Data & Analytics team, in close collaboration with Tech, to ensure the timely implementation of prioritized GenAI solutions at GSK Spain

Become an ambassador on the power of AI to drive sustainable transformation in the pharma industry and the whole Health ecosystem

Leadership

Leads and motivates a high-performance team, with integrity, fostering professional and personal development aligned with GSK culture

Facilitates collaboration and communication across different areas within the company.

Inspires the team and motivates peers to achieve goals on the Data, insights, analytics and AI space

Why you?

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Business Administration, Technology, Engineering or related fields. Postgraduate degrees (MBA, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing, or Life Sciences ) will be a plus

8 years experience. Proven experience in commercial roles in the pharma industry will be a plus. Strategy consulting experience will also be a plus

Innovation oriented profile, eager to leverage the power of data to maximise business performance and drive change within the company

Understanding of AI applicability on the Health space.

Results-oriented with the ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), with the ability to communicate and present effectively to groups and senior leaders

Excellent level of spoken and written English and Spanish

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

2 years experience in the pharma industry (commercial / data & analytics / business insight / marketing / market access )

Detail oriented and operationally focused with a track record of improving process and leading through change

Experience working with diverse set of stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes that create business impact

Highly collaborative, with experience of building and nurturing productive networks

Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity to break down complex topics into understandable vignettes

Very strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a time and resource constrained environment
